This means combining on-chain metrics with off-chain signals: community sentiment, developer activity, governance participation patterns, and even the emotional tone of forum discussions. It means acknowledging that governance is not a purely rational process, but a human one, shaped by trust, fear, and ambition. In my work, I have started to develop a "governance health index" that weighs not just financial metrics but also the quality of discourse, the diversity of voices, and the resilience of the community.
